So a couple of us G3 guys were texting and thought it would be a neat idea to have a "club" chapter. After a few ideas were kicked around we decided on blak widows as the theme. We are still rounding out the fluff, but here are the initial concepts for chapter badge and chapter colors. Would love to hear some feedback!
So I added some color to him. The entire army is a very fast paint with a majority of the heavy lifting being done with an airbrush and washes. It makes it go by fast. It may not be the top quality I love so much, but with such limited hobby time available it will have to work!
Made a bit more progress on the army, but obviously I wanted to be able to play it in friendly games as well, so I decided a Vulkan would be the easiest way to do it. In 30k he will just be a Praetorian and in friendly games of 6th he can be Vulkan. Here is a step by step of how I did it.
So Chiller has finally talked me into doing a true 30k army. After much debate, I have chosen the Salamanders. While I like the Space Wolves and Blood Angels more, I figured choosing something that wouldn't tempt me to bleed over into 6th Ed would be good idea. So here is what I have so far.
