Grey Knights

Well, it has taken a lot of time but I finally have acquired enough of the OOP Grey Knight terminator weapons to take a run at a Grey Knight army that doesn't have the wrist mounted storm bolters, at least on the power armored guys.  I plan on keeping them for the terminators.  I will post a few pics showing where I am on the project.  I also have a Dread Knight modeled, video is on YouTube.  Comments are always welcome.

Astral Claws

So I had a chance to go down to the game saloon and paint today. I have to say it sure is nice to just sit there and paint special markings on marines. This Badab project has really focused me on freehanding symbols and markings. That being said, someday these boys will be replaced now the mini-gods at Forge World have released Astral Claw shoulder pads!!! Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think.

Infinity

So I got my second complete game of Infinity in last night.  As with the previous partial games and first full games we tried to fold in more of the special gear/rules.  Here is what I can say, CUTTERS ARE NO JOKE!  Having one of those pop up in the middle of your force is certainly a game changer.  I did finally kill it, but nor before high energy Romeo managed to decimate 5 guys in my force, 3 of which happened to be my heavy infantry.  Needless to say, it was fun and action packed.  I am looking forward to a rematch when I actually have a hacker or a TAG of my own.

Finally have the Yu Jing starter finished.

Aleph

Stayed up late to put together the Aleph TAG from the Infinity line. This was in retaliation to the arms race instigated by my friend playing Pan Oceania. I am not that fond of the Yu Jing TAG, so I picked this up. All & all another clean mini from the guys at Infinity.

Tactical Squad

Hey there, I have been getting some time to work on my first tactical squad for the Astral Claws and figured I should put a few WIP pics up.  In case you did not know I have a WIP thread up on CMoN as well.  Here is a link to that.

I basically started by making a few practice symbols on my glass palette, I think you can see it in a grey color in one of the squad photos.  I then basically applied that to a shoulder pad.  Once all of the stars were in place it was a matter of placing the claw around it.  I have not finished all of the lining around the claws, but one is done.  I am fairly pleased with the final product.

Huron Completed

Hey there everyone, it has been a very long time since my last post. I have not had a lot of time to hobby, but my wife was very generous this weekend and I was able to complete Huron! The photo is not te best as it taken with my phone, but you get the idea!
